6 Days Uganda Primates Safari. This 6 Days Uganda Primates safari combines Gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee tracking in Uganda. Visit Kibale National Park to watch the Chimpanzees and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a Gorilla tracking expedition. Later transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi to do a boat ride, explore the islands as well as a visit to the local Batwa communities. Depending on the route taken, you might even catch sight of the remarkable tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe airport in Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe international airport where you will be met by your driver guide from Jungle Escape Africa. Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe (10–20 minutes) or Kampala (45–90 minutes depending on traffic). Check in and rest.

Day 2 – Journey to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast you set off at 7.00am to Kibale National Park. Lunch will be in Fort Portal town thereafter proceeding to Kibale National Park. Check in at your accommodation, dinner and overnight. Request a Quote

Day 3 – Kibale Chimp tracking and Bigodi wetland Tour

Have early breakfast and transfer to park offices by 7.30am. Register, meet the ranger guides and thereafter head into the forest to search for the Chimpanzees. You shall be allowed maximum one hour to view them and follow them through the forest, thereafter return to find your driver and transfer to the lodge for lunch. Later in the evening you go for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland to observe primates, birds and other wildlife. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Kibale – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast check out and leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Make a game viewing drive through Queen Elizabeth Park for chances on the tree climbing lions and other animals. Lunch at Ishasha restaurant and continue to Bwindi. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Gorilla Trekking Bwindi in Uganda

Have early breakfast and transfer to the park offices by 7.30am, taking packed lunch from the lodge. Register, meet the rangers, you are allocated a Gorilla group, and by 8.00am you transfer to the start of the trek into the forest to track the Gorillas. After the memorable encounter with these great apes, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Check into your lodge for evening rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe airport

After breakfast check out, do a canoe ride on the lake and explore the islands. On the other end of the lake, leave the boat to go visit the Batwa Pygmies Community. Leave for Kampala/Entebbe airport. Lunch is en-route in Mbarara town. You also get to make a stopover at the Uganda Equator.
