Day 1 – Departure for Kidepo Valley Safari
Pick up will be at your convenient location in Kampala/Entebbe. After your breakfast, the driver-guide will pick you up to begin the long haul journey to Kidepo valley national park. Along the way, we will have a few stops to stretch your legs or grab a bite. Upon arrival in Kidepo valley, we check into our booked safari lodge for dinner. Lodge Options: Apoka Bandas – Budget, Adere Safari Lodge – Mid range, Apoka Safari Lodge – Luxury.
Day 2 – Early morning game drive and Karamajong cultural experience.
We will have our breakfast in the wee hours of the morning and immediately set out for an early morning game drive that will wind up in an exciting tour of Kanangorok hot spring where quite a number animals can be seen roaming around including the African Ostrich that can only be seen here in its natural habitat in Uganda.
Return to the lodge for some time of relaxation and after lunch we set for our adventure with the Karamajongs, a community that has stayed true to its culture and traditions despite the influence of the outside world. Day 3 – Narus valley game drive, Hike to Lomeji mounts
From our amazing game viewing safari in Narus valley, we return to the lodge for breakfast and later after lunch we set out to Lomeji mount for a hike to the top that will give us a spectacular view of the park and an opportunity to peep into the neighbouring south Sudan. Return to the lodge. Lodge Options: Apoka Bandas – Budget, Adere Safari Lodge – Mid range, Apoka Safari Lodge – Luxury.
Day 4 – Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe.
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge, exit the park and start our journey back to Kampala or Entebbe airport with lunch en route.
