3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Tour takes you Kibale Forest National Park that covers 795 square kilometers of moist evergreen rain-forest. It is home to a variety of wildlife especially primates. There is a big population of Chimpanzees including some groups that have been habituated for the great Chimpanzee trekking experience.
Day 1 – Transfer Kibale National Park
Pick up from the hotel in Kampala is at 8am after early breakfast. Travel westwards to Kibale, making a stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch break. Thereafter proceed to Kibale National Park and check in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Have early breakfast and then transfer to the park offices for briefing before entering the forest to look for these amazing primates. After a memorable one hour encounter with the Chimps, return and transfer to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. Later set out for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands near the forest. Day 3 – Kibale – Kampala
After breakfast check out of the lodge and enjoy the last moments in the Primates Capital of the World. Make a leisurely drive back to Kampala.
