Akagera National Park fees

Akagera National Park fees are structured in a way that the longer a visitor stays at the park, the less they pay in terms of entrance fees. For instance, a visitor staying beyond 3 nights at the park is not charged for entry after the 3rd day/night up to a week. Perhaps this is unknown to many tourists who have severally been seen visiting Rwanda for only Gorilla trekking and considering an extension to Kenya, Uganda or Tanzania for the Big Five wildlife safari.

Looking at Akagera National Park fees, it is cheaper taking up both Gorilla trekking and a Wildlife Safari with in Rwanda. Apart from missing out on the bounty of attractions that Akagera National Park has to offer, they incur more costs in terms of flights and other transport expenses. Akagera is a savannah national park in Rwanda hosting the Big Five and many other wildlife species including birds. The park is located 2 hours from Kigali airport and capital city, making a 1 day trip possible for tourists who can’t stay longer.
